100 pushups, week 5, day 3, take 3 – done
Today morning I did week 5 day 3, all that was needed, which is 20 / 20 / 24 / 24 / 20 / 20 / 22 and then 50 at the end. This is a total of 200 pushups in a short amount of time. Wow…

Trying week 5 day 3, both on Sunday and today, and did 20 / 20 / 24 / 24 / 20 / 20 / 22 and then just 34 instead of 50 at the end on both occasions. It seems there’s still a way to go…
Trying week 5 day 2, after several takes on day 1. I did 19 / 19 / 22 / 22 / 14 (not 18) / 14 / 22 and then 45 at the end. I have to admit I couldn’t keep up with the 45 second rest interval between the sets, and had to go for more. I could manage the first 3 sets (a total of 60 pushups) with 45 seconds in between, but after that I had to wait more. Seems like its more of a stamina thing.
Trying week 5 day 1 for the fifth time in the 100 pushups program. Now managed 36 / 40 / 30 / 24 and then 40, the minimum for the last set. At least now I managed it. Though I have to admit, I waited longer than the prescribed 60 seconds between the sets.
Trying week 5 day 1 for the fgourth time in the 100 pushups program. Now managed 36 / 40 / 30 / 24 and then just 33 at the end instead of 40. This is still 163 pushups in a short amount of time. Interestingly, the first to sets were quite straightforward, but the third run for 30 pushups already caused problems…
Trying week 5 day 1 for the third time in the 100 pushups program. Now managed 36 / 40 / 30 / 24 and then just 28 at the end instead of 40. This is still 155 pushups in a short amount of time, but could be better.
I also have a feeling that the site has changed, as week 5 was a different program earlier…
I’m re-trying week 5 of the 100 pushups project, on the hardest level. And then I can’t make it as I should. I did 40 / 29 / 29 / 25 and then 29 instead of 40 / 32 / 30 / 25 and at least 40. There’s way more to practice…
Today I did day 3 of week 5 of the 100 pushups program, and did the prescribed 16 / 16 / 14 / 14 / 12 / 12 / 10 and then 35 at the end. I’ll re-do week 5 next week, going for the most difficult path, not as this week.
Now I also see the path they are taking: not that many (<20) pushups each, but quite little time to relax in between. This could lead to the ability to do all of them without rests eventually, in one go…
I’m doing the 100 pushups program week 5, did day 1 on Monday and day 2 today morning. I’m in the middle range now, as I did not qualify for the highest range during my last test, by just doing 40 pushups in a row. But even so, I couldn’t do all of day 1 as it was supposed to be, I did 35 / 28 / 25 / 22 and then just 32 at the end, instead of at least 35. Today morning I did the intended 17 / 17 / 16 / 16 / 14 / 14 / 12 and then 35. Though I have to admit I rested longer between the takes than the prescribed 45 seconds. But then again, watching movies in between on my PSP makes the time flow away
After week 4, I made another test, and could manage to do 40 consecutive pushups in one go. This is a but higher than the original 25 I could make, but still far from 100
And again, this is one short for qualifying me for the highest category for week 5, but I think I’ll go for that one..
